If you will go back and look, I have dogged just as many CC fans for ridiculous statements they have made.

That may be so. Are you a coach? Then if not you really would not know what a coach goes thru. I am just saying out of all of these post I have not said one bad thing about any coach and in particular the price twins yet you continue to slight the AC coaches and Gillum for some reason. It just sounds out of character for a person to do unless they have a hidden agenda. Just straight out of the blue dog a coach when he probably did not even know his name was there.

I still think you are erell38 by the way lol! Our maybe you're his relation. Way too similar with the snark and fake concern but in a funny way. I enjoy your posts forreal. But let me say in all seriousness that Robbie ain't a much better coach than Gillum. That's not smart. I could do well with that lineup. It's when you have to coach em up is when you can tell who's a very good coach.

wow he does sound a lot like errell38 and you right Tom about coaching up!

And Rob could do well with that lineup at AC. I don't mind the "being proud" of your coaches and players but let's not act like Gillum is the second coming of Bear Bryant. And I still think it is ridiculous regarding the centerpiece! I don't understand that at all! Again, my treat if you care to join me!

Wait, what? AC painted a image of their district championship ring on the middle of the field and it has Gillum's name on the side of it? I just now realized what y'all were talking about. Is this serious?

watch what you say you might upset the gillymites..lol. but yes they did and it is huge the biggest centerpiece on a field I have ever seen them do.

That so cool don't you think! Maybe you can paint one this year if you guys win the district. koodos :)

Gaddis would never have a district title ring made in a million years. I mean I understand y'all are proud of that district championship but I am with Knoxvul...Just a taaaaaad bit overboard. To each their own, though.

When have I dogged Gillum? Did I dog him for allowing a "district" championship ring to be painted on a field with his name on it? Yes! Absolutely. I would laugh in his face over it. I would expect a coach to have a little more about him than that regardless of his issues with what has been going on between the communities. Show me where I have dogged Gillum for his coaching ability. Do I think Rob is better? Yep! If Gillum were at Fulton maybe I would think differently.

Fair enough but I'd say more like Vince Lombardi than the Bear! I kid, I kid!

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
