Fairview has pulled it off again!

 

I'm the mascot for the team and due to a recent illness, I was not able to attend tonight's game, but I just wanted to tell everyone on our team that they truly are the best Fairview has seen in years! Way to go guys! We are all proud to call ourselves Yellow Jackets!

 

And once again, my hat goes off to Coach Tommy Rewis and the wonderful job he's done during his time in the view!

Congratulations, Fairview!! What an outstanding win! On behalf of a fellow Williamson County team, I offer best wishes to the Jackets as they proceed into the 2nd Round, and hopefully further.

One question: How many yards did Cothran have?

I was listening to a scoreboard in Jackson & a caller from the game said that Fairview's time of possession was 34 minutes.That's an unreal stat when you think about it.It leaves your opponent with only 14 minutes in the whole game.Fairview obviously has a great running game to eat that much clock.Congrats to Fairview on their win.

Fairview had total control of this one from the get go. Boy was I way off on the score. The only Showtime and Primetime player in this one came from Cothran of Fairview. The radio said he had a little over 200 yards rushing, while the two so called "time" players from Huntingdon had 60 and 6 yards rushing. If you talk the talk, you better be able to walk the walk. Just proves that even though someone is a lower seed, they can still win. Good luck next week vs Mckenzie.

I guess that fellow that was laughing about Lewis County not having to worry about playing Huntingdon because Lewis would never make it there far was right in one regard? Congrats to the Jackets and Panthers for making the region proud!

Congratulations Fairview and luck to yall in the next round. Huntingdon just couldn't get it together tonight while Cothran was running it up the middle for atleast 3 yards a carry. "Showtime" and "Primetime" need to try to be more like Cothran and lower a shoulder and run UP the field not toward the side lines. This game reminded me alot of last year's lose to Harpeth in the first round. Good Luck to all the teams still in it and hope everyone stays healthy.
