Offense very simplified tonight. Basically keep giving it to the fb and let the O-line grind it out. Only attacked the corners a couple of times with very little success. Dresden has some impressive players. Yates runs the ball hard.

Just as I say no success on the corners we take one to the house by attacking the outside. . 28-0 UC

Dude.. yep, UC is #1 team in state for sure! If Ricky Henry doesn't win Mr. Football something is wrong! Proud of our Lions giving it their all and never quitting! No shame in losing to a team like the impressive Golden Tornadoes!

With all that stuff being said up there and as much as I'd like to see Dresden keep it close, I don't see this being closer than a 28 pointer. No disrespect to the Lions, BUT it is what it is. If D can keep it to 4 scores than it's somewhat of a victory. My hope is 28, but my gut says a little more. I had this one penciled in to what when the season kicked off, but I will probably go see Camden and Huntingdon.

Good luck to both squads.

Dresden, you have a promising future.  Young kids played very well tonight.  #1 & #2 are players.  Our kids just play hard day after day after day.  They have tons of experience.  Trenton will be good but only Union City stops Union City.  No team, including NCS can handle the pounding the ball ALL night long play after play.  If we do get everyone 100% healthy, another trophy case might be built come early December.  Great first quarter tonight as our backup Q B had to get the jitters out and the team had to get their fill for him in real play.   The bye weeks is coming at a very good time and the coming back week is usually scary but playing a decent Greenfield team should give Union City a first half to have to play and I might be wrong.
