Thoughts & predictions?

 

I expect HC to win but think the QB from Kenwood will keep it close early. I don't know much else about KW except that QB can flat out play.

Defense has to keep Malcolm Perry in check. Do that and we're probably okay. Gotta bring the intensity though. Kenwood has strung together some impressive games the last few weeks and is coming in with some momentum. HC has to avoid a let down coming off a big win. The Knights may well be one of the 2 best teams in Clarksville this year.

Last year he helped Kenwood  put 22 on the Pats in the first game and if memory serves me right one or two long runs were negated by penalties.Though we pretty well shut him down in the playoffs, he is a dangerous and skilled athlete who poses problems for us both running and passing. Our defense is capable but we cannot afford a letdown! Speaking of our defense, it is very interesting to compare our opponents scores last year and this through five games.

I noticed that last week. 21, 20, 6, 22, and 27 for 2013. 21, 21, 6, 22, and 20 so far for 2014. Crazy. Seems like this year's D has been on the field a lot more though.

I wonder if Fastcat will appear this week. I think he relocated to East Tennessee but always had a lot to say during Kenwood week and was never very complimentary of our Patriots.

I think this will be the perfect game to see exactly where these two programs are in the district.

 

Kenwood struggled against two really good teams (Independence & Pearl Cohn), but have since played solid ball against three weaker teams.

 

After last weeks win over Rossview, a HC win here confirms that their dominance of 10AAA continues to be strong.

 

If Kenwood can get the win, it gives hope to the minions of district 10, that the Pats can be beaten.

This game could be close in the first half, but Henry County will pull away in the second half. Henry County by 24.

Just as we have seen these games go very similar as last year with the exception of the offense not putting up the numbers I expect the score to be HC 28 - Kenwood 7.

I agree, too quiet. Looking for a big game defensively against the Knights. This should be a good game. I am looking for our Offensive Line to improve again and hoping that the offense in general continues to open things up. Ready for Friday Night!!!
