Truth-

Forrest went to Alabama and played a very strong team (cos Collinwood wanted no part of us), and also schedules 3A Cascade and 4A Page every year.

Does this help the Rockets later in the year (the competition), or should we play creampuffs like Huntland schedules out of District so we could have rolled them by 3 TDs?

2014-15 TSSAA Handbook

For the purpose of district/region standings, the following tie-breaking procedures shall be applied and all regular

season games, both district/region and non-district/non-region, shall count. If at any point when the following tie-

breaking procedures are applied, one team has beaten all the other teams that are tied for a play-off position, that

team shall be rated above the others. After any position in the district/region standings has been determined, the

tie-breaker procedure shall begin all over again to determine the next position. This procedure shall be repeated

to determine all places in the district/region.

1. The team with the greatest number of victories.

2. The team who plays the greatest number of team who win 50 percent or more of their games.

3. The team who has the greatest number of victories over teams winning 50 percent or more of their games.

4. The team whose opponents have earned the most victories.

5. The team whose opponents have received fewer defeats.

Once the district/region champions and runners up have been determined, the remainder of the 32 team bracket

in 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A and the remainder of the 24 team bracket in 1A and 2A shall be completed with teams as

they appear on the overall standings within each classification (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A). The standings will be determined with the following criteria:

Note: Some of the tie-breaker criteria below involve games against non-Division I opponents. If a team plays a school that is not in Division I, the following criteria will be used to determine that schools’ classification for the purpose of breaking ties. Non-Division I being non-TSSAA schools, TSSAA Division II schools, and out-of-state

The non-Division I school’s enrollment will be used. That school’s enrollment will then be applied to the current TSSAA enrollment breakdowns of 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A. If the school is non-public, its enrollment will be multiplied by 1.8. If the school is a single sex private school, the enrollment will be doubled and also multiplied by

1. The team with the greatest number of victories.

2. The team who plays the greatest number of teams who win 50 percent or more of their games.

3. The team who has the greatest number of victories over teams winning 50 percent or more of their games.

4. The team whose opponents have earned the most victories.

5. The teams whose opponents have received the fewest defeats.

6. Total wins by the opponents of teams defeated.

Once the 24 teams have been selected in the Class 1A and 2A playoffs, the teams will be geographically grouped into four six-team quadrants. Once the 32 teams have been selected in the Class 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A playoffs, the teams will be geographically grouped into four eight-team quadrants. This grouping will be done without regard to

Priority for seeding once the teams have been placed in their geographic quadrants shall be as follows:

1. Teams finishing 1st in their district will receive first priority.

2. Teams finishing 2nd in their district will receive second priority.

3. Teams who do not finish 1st or 2nd in their district and qualify based on their position in the football play-off

standings shall receive last priority.

What is funny about that? Are you saying that Forrest can't win out or that MTCS can't beat Huntland?

Its funny because Budda stating last week that Forrest would win out over Huntland etc.  I don't know which will win that Huntland-MTSC game but figure MTSC has the edge.  As far as Huntland being beatable, thank you Captain Obvious since they last to Columbia Academy.

IT WASN'T AN OUTRAGEOUS prediction seeing as we beat you 42-3 last year. you think you're 7 touchdowns improved from last year or maybe did it have something to do with 6 Forrest starters being out and 7 straight weeks playing against far superior competition than you guys.

the unbeatable comment referenced the MTC in district game. I'm well aware CA hammered you.

i'll hang up and listen.

Let it go Buddha the game is over.  All teams have injuries this time of the year.  Huntland has lost 3 players for the year and has not said one word about it.  Yall have 500 students Huntland has 200 , yall have 60 players they have 27, that might be the reason that they play schools closer to their size outside of district games. Huntland won the game, could of been worse since they took a knee on yalls one yard line to end the game,  quit searching for an excuse and give them some credit because their kids played their hearts out and they deserve credit for that accomplishment.

Hornets don't seem to have too many problems. Have posted over 50 points the last two outings. Put 27 on a good pretty good Eagleville defense.

If I remember correctly, took the first drive into the end zone during the jamboree.

Better not overlook this one...

that is incorrect. with both teams at full strength Forrest absolutely stuffed that drive and scored one of their own.

Looks like with double the enrollment and triple the number of players on roster should have plenty of backups capable of playing. Forrest played a team that was like them in running the football and Huntland was the more physical team. Big difference was Huntland could throw the ball when it needed to and Forrest could not. Time to move on to next game.
