Best offensive player is probably J'Honathyn Smith

Rhyse Randolph defensively.

It's a little prejudice towards Waverly it looks like. I guess a better question is who are the top 5 offensive and defensive players. I know there has to be some good players on other teams other than just Waverly. I've only seen two teams in the district so I don't know anything about any of the other teams.

I would say the Edmondson kid at Creekwood is one of the best players in the district. Camden had a freshman last year that could score it pretty well last year, but I do not know his name.

A lot of action on this page since I last checked. I'm just a big Waverly fan and supporter of all it's teams. I didn't mean anything negative towards Hayden. From watching him last season, he seems like a good player and I'm sure will do good at Camden. I was just judging from last season and the Tigers only lost one player. Having seen the Tigers play the other night I don't know where he would have gotten minutes. Waverly has two really good freshmen (Jonathan's younger brother and Coach Tidwell's son). They also have a 6'5" new starter, plus the transfer from Alabama, Taylor Rudolph back healthy and a good transfer from Camden. There are going to be some talented players sitting the bench. But the coach may have figured a way to get Hayden in the lineup. Regardless, it seems things are working out great for Hayden at Camden and I wish him the best of luck.

As for my prediction, I will stay with Waverly 1st and Creek Wood 2nd. Waverly looked very good the other night. Also, I do believe Jonathan Smith is the best offensive player in the district. He scores very easily.

If Jordan Hughey is one of those kids you speak of he is the son of Tristan Yarbrough. The kid is naturally gifted and i believe Les will keep his head on straight then he may be a force much like his daddy was.

Who is Tristan Yarbrough? I have been around for several years and I have never heard of him. I have heard that the Hughey kid isn't passing any of his classes so I would assume he wouldn't be eligible for very much longer.

Not a chance that anyone can keep that kid from getting his shot off. Hayden doesnt have those kind of hops so that's not a fair measuring stick but I will be willing to bet he will be on him a lot if/when we are in man .  He can try and deny him the ball  but Smiths going to get his when he wants too,We played a lot of Man last night but I see a lot of  zone coming vs Waverly

Camden won't be able to play man defense against Waverly, to many match up problems. They will struggle with the zone defending so many 3 point shooters.
