AAASOCCER
Yes Little AAA will be playing close by home. In the summer she will try to hook up with CFC WPSL team again. (Something I encourage all college players in the area to do.) Then off to Lipscomb in the fall to join up with a good group of girls and coaching staff. As for AAA I will still be sitting on the sidelines for McMinn as my 8th grade daughter moves up. I have many years of soccer to go and I am proud of how Little AAA has played over the years and the rest of the Sr. Class. hopefully that Lipscomb deal works out for little AAA and there is still soccer in your future ...Good luck; yall are gonna miss that Sr Class. Playerscoach
Saw Ravenwood and Franklin last night. It's crazy how good they are. The talent in that area is diluted in a 15 mile radius amongst BGA, BA, Independance, Franklin, Ravenwood, Brentwood and CPA. You can easily see why so many Div 1 state championships are won by TSC. The game was 1 vs 1 at half. Frankling GK Jess Harvey, a 6'2" UGA commit, made a few really tough saves. Pascal and Franklins Callie Mckinney, a Louisville commit, battled all night with Pascal showing why she's special several times. In the end after 13 PKs Ravenwood won 2-1. Both teams played outstanding.
trebs
In the end after 13 PKs Ravenwood won 2-1. Both teams played outstanding. I am no expert in this, but I thought after both teams take 5 kicks, then in each successive round of kicks both teams get one kick. Wouldn't it be impossible to have an odd total number of kicks after 10? Edited October 23, 2014 by trebs

PJM
The Siegel @ Oakland game tonight was a classic. Oakland defeated Siegel in two previous contests this year with same score of 2-1. Tonight, at the end of regulation it was scoreless. Both teams had opportunities. It was a back and forth game. In the second 10 minute OT period Oakland scored on a direct kick from 40 yards out around the 1:45 mark. Siegel comes back and scores around the 1:05 mark. In the second 5 minute sudden death period, Siegel scores with 28 seconds remaining to take the region championship.
Playerscoach
Take the field or Houston, Franklin or Ravenwood? Houston seems down this year but are still very good.
tarp
My son the 16 y/o ref agrees that while they are usually referred to as PK,s there are indeed "kicks from the mark" in OT. Heck if I know, I'm just the guy that paints the marks!
