I suppose. I'm just of the opinion that for a team to go 15-0 you better not be down coming into any game. I agree with the judging in one game. I see what you're saying, but film and several coaches telling me the same things I saw makes me think it happens often. I think the 10-0 regular season record is the product of a weak schedule. They're good, but not great IMO.

I get what you are saying. They can be very inconsistent on O, but they are very stingy on D.. Very, Very tough to run on. I have never heard of them not being team oriented from others I talk with

If this game is over 2 scores I will be surprised. Hillsboro probably wins this one but if Springfield can get the ground game going then Hillsboro will have a tough time. Springfield has the athletes to compete with Hillsboro. Barbee is as fast as any of Hillsboro's guys. I am pulling for Springfield, I just hope they have enough after coming together for another win over my Wave.

I guess my biggest ? Is I remember Springfield folks saying how bad a matchup Rossview was for them. Well Hillsboro is a bigger, faster version of Rossview Imo.. Think I might drive down to see this game. According to the boards it seems like Springfield is the favorite

Clarksville Rossview was a bad match up for us that is true.  We had our QB out but so did Clarksville Rossview.  We just seemed plain flat for that game.  I am hoping that after beating Gallatin last week and with the return of Evan Lenk, our QB, that we can return to the pre-Big Red game team.  If we do return to this form we will be tough.  Win or lose I am very proud of what the Jackets and Coach Wilson have accomplished this year.  Big Red fans and Gallatin fans both, I believe, will attest to the fact that we are quick, very quick.  It should be an exciting game.  Stap them on let's play the time for talking is over.  Let's do this thing..   LOL

    • Hope the catcher on baseball team come back out and play's football . He didn't play last year if I remember but I don't remember much after that wreck anyways.. But he did play his freshman and soph years and I thought was a very good player. He's put on some size now, so I'm hoping he's thinking about playing again..
    • Pirates are young this year.  Gordy can sleep on them.
    • They’ll get it worked out eventually.Farragut is too good of a program to be down for long. As an OR fan, I can’t really say I’m too distraught about it though.
    • I didn’t even see that until you said something, but I don’t think it’s that bad. Yes, the coaches can’t get along with each other. But I don’t think they’re openly taking shots at each other right in front of the parents. If they are, that’s pitiful though, that’s really pitiful. I sure hope they’re not, but yeah, I’ve heard the same thing from players over at Farragut getting fed up, and I feel as though what the coaching staff has been trying to keep under the prying eyes of the parents is now out on full display.
    • and there is definitely a reason for that—more than just Catholic recruiting.
