The great Bobby Bowden (or was it Bear Bryant?) once said he would rather have a semi-talented player that would work hard over a very talented player who didn't think he had to work 10 to 1. Or something like that. That is my biggest concern with this group. In the past all they had to do is show up to win but they aren't in middle school anymore. 

 

I've been watching the 3-4A threads and fanatic hasn't been posting. He may have graduated elementary school and bought a Xbox or something.

Is there trouble in lion country? Rumor has it that the star QB and head coach got into argument at yesterday's 7 on 7 and QB didn't ride back with team. On a positive note, did hear they beat Uc during the day, but when the dust settled, Uc, not a passing team, won the 7 on 7 for the 2nd yr in a row.

Kids carpooled there. There was no argument between Winn and Rang when I was there which was the whole day. The team looked good til after lunch. Guess they ate too much. Congrats to UC though wish we could of played them again.

7 on 7's is only good for timing between the QB and receivers. The problem I have with them is the QB has like 6 seconds to get a pass off. To be more realistic they should put the QB on a 3-4 second timer because if he is lucky if he will have 4 seconds to get rid of the ball. Dresden will be fine, hopefully, maybe...................... Heat probably didn't help the kids much either.
