I'm told we are scrimmaging Loretto toward the end of spring practice and a jv scrimmage with Perry Co as well. I've heard a scrimmage is scheduled for the preseason at Waverly with them and Union Cit

Haha oh come on now Bigby you know yall are a good team and it will be a solid matchup. How many returning starters did yall get back?

To borrow Roy's line.....

"You may be thinking I'm joking , but I'm not".

 

A couple return, but the lines are full of Fresh.& Soph... I told you earlier this year I would confirm if they where rebuilding or not after scrimmages... Confirmed.

 

But nobody would be tickled more than I if the Tigers were to prove me wrong.

Wayne Co has a very inexperienced line with some young boys playing but have one of the better most talented backfields we've had in awhile. WC lost a lot of leadership on the line last year and are still looking for that one player to step up and take control.

Thanks for your insight and honesty there Bigby. We definitely will not sleep on those pesky Tigers. As yall always have a very talented team.

For those of you that have Facebook if you want to keep up with all things Wayne Co. Wildcat Football related. Games, Stats, Pictures, Videos etc then go like the page

I just uploaded our complete 2015 Roster and Coaching Staff earlier on there. Through out the season I will post numerous pictures/videos and keep up with our seasonal stats.

 

Also for all the new Region 6 opponents if yall want to get a leg up on the 'Cats go check it out and like the page. Yall will need all the help you can get no that yall gotta face WC Wildcats for that Region Championship!

that will be nice.....been trying to get defense stats for a certain player for almost a year and nobody will tell me anything.i kept up with his off stats myself and read the timesdaily every week :rolleyes:

i dont care if it was just one tackle......"i know it was more than that"......i just wanna know what it was......i like numbers

THANK YOU for doing this by the way.......these kids work there butts off,im proud somebody takes the time and hard work to acknowledge them....WC baseball had one......count em one article in the paper all season long........... :angry: no stats no pics no support at all..........them boys worked hard all season also........

Your welcome. With my job and being away from home for 4 of the 10 reg season games I will rely on my wife and a couple other ppl to keep some stats on those games but I will do my best to compile stats weekly and bring the latest news to yall.

 

My entire HS career we never had anything wrote n the paper not anything so my SR yr i ask Rice if i could write an article or 2 with some stats and summarize the season. He got it published for me so all i can say is if yall want there to be info etc sometimes you gotta be the one to do the work. It sucks but thats small town sports around Wboro. Baseball never gets any publicity in Wboro idk why bcuz it does in Collinwood big time.

I too love me some statistics and numbers. Makes my days go by better to put a stat to a player. I still have all newspaper clippings stats & DVD from my SR yr of football...priceless stuff.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
