PIrate Mike I went by that mess and watched. Grider had our boys in a prevent defence the whole time and that number 5 that was a pass catcher for them was catching all kinds of balls. I garuntee you he might could play in the SEC. Grider had a durn camp last week for the little fellars. He better have a durn pass defenders camp or that Ross man is going to beat our boys bad. I aint joking either.

I got there late cause I was down at Foodland talking to this man and he was telling me about this blue and white team up at Griders field. I drove up there and I couldnt tell who was who. Our passer is going to have to get a stronger arm. Grider should make him go to that Peyton manning passing school. I dont no why Grider kept our boys in a prevent defence the whole game. They moved that ball all over the field on Griders defence. I aint joking pirate Mike.

      One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.

      If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.

      I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
