West Carroll beats UC easily and then flushes GC in the Region Semis to end their season.

Lol that's a pretty bold statement. But getting ahead of yourself. It could easily be bradford and the Greenfiekd you play. Both are playing very good ball right now. And not saying WC can't beat gc but I highly doubt they flush them. Nobody has flushed them all year and they have played some good competition

LOL  I was just trolling a little bit.  Trying to get the GC fans wound up.  I don't believe anyone can flush GC either.  I do think they can be beaten but it will take foul trouble and an off shooting night for at least two players.  Possible.....yes.   Likely.....No

Bradford is a well coached team. South Gibson would be strong if she was still there. Gibson County played with an attitude on defense tonight and played well on offense as well. Took the ball to the hole and attacked the rim. Great performance.

When Bri plays defense like she did last night and still puts in 15-20 on offense, GC is tough to beat.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
