pujo I can tell you this knowing the kid from Maryville that transferred there is going through all the red tape and all the proper channels with the TSSAA and I can guarantee you he will not see the field until cleared. I don't know the problem that happened in the past there but I do know it was brought up when he applied for school and was very well told the procedures by their coach. By saying this I can assure you GCA  would not make some kind of mistake with the kid that came from Central.  There are no games or no tricks and I know this first hand. I was told by the family that they would not know right up until right before the first game. They realize that and are happy that he is a part of the team and if he can only play JV ball this year it's by all means that GCA is following the rules set forth. Some rules are not clear as others and sometimes they make no sense but if there wasn't something in place kids would be jumping all over the place like the NFL.

Grace had one QB transfer from Claiborne County and another QB transfer from Maryville. One of those QB's has been cleared by the TSSAA and one has not.

They live off transfers, its the Grace way. Got one from Knox Central also. Grace guy said something about a 25 mile  deal, is only about 15.
