I'd say Gallatin could upset either Hillsboro or Cane Ridge. People have completely quit on them, understandably so. Somewhere deep down Gallatin can play a good game and have luck on their side. Hopefully they haven't given up.

Hillsboro excels at stopping the run from what I've seen. CR is vulnerable to a good power run team as Beech showed. Can Gallatin pass well enough to keep Hillsboro honest this week would be my question

I just don't think Gallatin has any way of beating Hillsboro. Not from the two teams I've seen play. I believe Hillsboro names the score.

Agree, but Gallatin is just a bad football team right now.

We have seen more pf the bad side of hillsboro only putting up 24 points against a god awful glenclilff team and getting beat by caneridge. I dont think they will come to play against beech especially at beech's home.

But Hillsboro at their best is arguably by far the best in the region.

Too bad Gallatin has to play them Friday. Funny that GHS thought they could go through an entire year with nothing going offensively except one RB. Lots of guys playing on that team were dominating at the middle school level. Now that they are in high school, they haven't progressed as much as the players being coached at other region schools. Call it what you want, though.

I expect Hillsboro and Beech both to bring their A game. Hillsboro give Beech some major matchup problems, but several weeks of rest and play tweaking may help Beech win. Personally I feel as though Hillsboro should be favored going into the game.

Hillsboro has the most to play for... If Hillsboro loses the game with Beech they will finish 4th in Region... IF they win they can be Region champs.... Beech can win out and finish 2nd and a home game for the first round.
