Heard from a GP Parent that at the football parent meeting GP is going to sinking some major money into the program. Are the former assistants staying or is Joslin bringing his own?

What are they sinking money into? The facilities for football are some of the best around. Are you saying they may/ will replace coaches?

Staff will include several assistants that have been there for many years. A couple of new faces.

 Upgrades coming to the weight room for sure. Cosmetic changes to the stadium experience are possible.

 

Coach Joslin is a quality coach and will do just fine.

If Coach Martin was still there they would not be in this situation they are in now.

IMO, Goodpasture had better circle the wagons with their older alumni and board of directors to get the ship turned around pronto or they may not have a school. I was told yesterday that they have lost over 100 students the last few years and that accounts for many $$$$$. The school is not in a good geographical area of Nashville so they must work extra hard at being special to attract students and athletes.

I was told yesterday that they have lost over 100 students the last few years and that accounts for many $$$$$. The school is not in a good geographical area of Nashville so they must work extra hard at being special to attract students and athletes.

They did lose a lot of students. Hopefully, they can get more students.

Hambone wonders if going private would help their situation or is there enough $$$$$$ in Madison to support that?
