Okay, I'm intrigued.  What has Wayne County got to do with Oakland High School?  New staff hire?  Transfer?  Haven't heard anything about this.

Word around the campfire is R. Rice will be coming on as an assistant and P. Rice as QB.

Its looking more and more like Coach Rick Rice who has been the Head Coach @ Lake Co. (91-92) Wayne Co.(93-00) Perry Co.(01-05) and has been back at Wayne Co. every since the 2006 season. He led the Wildcats to their one and only 1A State Title in 2011 and he has had them in the playoffs every single year since he returned in 2006. His overall Head coaching record in 24 seasons is 164-113 and has went to the playoffs 19/24 years. His oldest son Tyler won Mr Football back in 2010 his Sr yr and signed a scholarship to play QB at UT-Martin he transferred and finished his career at Morehead St. His middle boy Played WR until his bro graduated then he went to QB but his calling was Baseball. After graduating in 2012 he got a scholarship to a local C.C. and is now playing at Delta State. Coach youngest son is Preston he is a rising Junior QB. He is around 6'2 190 and i believe just turned 16 so he has growing to do. Rice and Creasy have a connection due to Creasy having alot of family in Wayne County. From what i have been told Rick would be Off Cord/Asst. Head Coach. Oakland wants him really bad.
