LOD, causes more trouble than most! He has bashed my good friend Coach A for years based on his infatuation with The old Rankin staff And Steve Britton. They controlled the area before it blew up on size. I'd like to see them do the same thing now.

Put them at any school in  the region and they would be a very consistent winning program!

Shows what you actually know. Rankin hates my guts and the feeling is almost totally mutual. If you were someone who truly knew anything about training linemen you would know Steve Britton is WELL respected when it comes to teaching linemen.

YES I bashed your 'good friend' only AFTER he screwed up the team for his first two years. I gave him the benefit of the doubt the first two. After that it was game on.

Also one of the first things Rankin ever said to me was, "What do you know about football?". I simply asked him did playing in the pros count. I was also the first Dad that almost took his son to another school that played R'dale. AFTER he apologized to my son and asked him nicely to come back, did I allow him to. I had a rule for playing ball. Grades came first! Unfortunately that is not Rankin's position then. I do not know about now. Steve Britton, Coach White, BOTH Coach McDaniels, and Coach Fields took my side in that. That is the main reason I respect those men.

This is why I like LOD!! We think alike on many football issues.

Yes, they'd win but to win state championships every yeae NO sir! Coach A has consistently won but 0 state final runs.

They didn't win titles every year! I said put them at any school in the region and they would be consistently winning! They were very consistent when they coached at Riverdale. Coach A is a good coach. The previous staff was better in my opinion. There are good coaches all over this country that never win a state title. I would love to see Coach A win a title at Riverdale! I know he won one at Hillsboro! Like I said I hope he wins one at Riverdale. GO WARRIORS!!!

I will say this I have a lot of respect for the program and the tradition at Riverdale and I firmly believe they will have a great season this year, but I will also follow it up and say that "IF" what was relayed to me is true, about how Coach A degrades his players in front of others then it is a sad state of affairs. I certainly hope that the love of coaching up those kids exceeds the love of winning the game or it is time to look at the program and decide what really matters. You can demand respect and get it when kid is in front of you , or you can earn it and that kid will carry that for you 24x7 and go above and beyond.

    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
