Wing-T is NOT the problem most have. Its their NOT understanding a passing game to go along with it that kills them. Not only do you have to pitch and catch, you have to have taught your offensive line how to block for a passing game. Pass blocking IS different than RUN blocking.

 

One of the best in the area that knows the difference and can teach it is Coach Britton. Now if they can just get more coming out at Tullahoma folks might be able to see it. Folks in the past DID see it at R'dale.

It sure looked pretty good against Rhea County, a team a lot of people think will contend for 5A crown

Playing pitch and catch should be easy if you run the wing-t effectively and throw when the throw is there.  Both Mt Juliet and Hendersonville were able to throw out of the wing-t.  It's just got to be part of the system...ball control, great defense, and great special teams.  You can't win at the highest levels just by having a killer wing-t...you gotta have all three.  

 

We'll have to see if Creasy gets it and builds that kind of team.  We did get the killer wing-t at Riverdale but never close to putting the whole package together.
