13 AA Tournament

Honestly, I see things that Riverside does that could possibly give Gibson problems. The sub-state games for Single A west should be some great games...

Neither team is very deep!  It will be starters vs starters.  Physical vs Finesse, IMO.  What do you think about a MIddleton v GC matchup if that plays out?

Not to take away from your single A discussion lol, but in more relevant news, SS defeats McNairy 57-31 in 14-AA consolation.

 

McNairy will play at Crockett County Tuesday. SS will play at WV Tuesday.

 

Lexington led Bolivar 31-21 after at the half, but now Bolivar has cut the lead to one. 38-37 Lexington at the end of 3rd quarter.

Lexington defeated Bolivar 57-48 in the 14-AA district championship. The stage is set for tomorrow night.

Should be some great games.

I have Crockett, Westview in a close one, Dyersburg and Lexington.  If they stay out of foul trouble, this could be Crockett's year to win the Region.

Bolivar, who has been under a winter weather advisory today, apparently received some wintry precipitation tonight.  The high temperature tomorrow in Bolivar is 28 degrees. Dyersburg doesn't have school tomorrow, Bolivar hasn't decided yet.  If roads are hazardous, whose call is it regarding the region quarter-final tomorrow?  And if the game isn't played tomorrow, what's next?

Bolivar comes from behind and beats Lady Trojans 55-54. Any other games complete in this region?

Westview defeated Southside 38-24. Westview surprised me tonight with how well they played southside.

 

Also, Lexington beat South Gibson pretty handily and Crockett Co defeated McNairy by about 10.

Congrats to Westview who I figured would match up better with SS than we did. If Westview can get hot on offense they will be dangerous.

Westview and Crockett play really great defense, not sure Lexington and Boliver has seen anything like these two all year.

I am with Westview and Crockett County. I thought South Side was the best team on that side.

I figured Bolivar and Dyersburg was going to be a good game. The surprise in this region is Westview beating SS by 14. I figured it could had gone either way, but Westview beating SS by 14 is impressive. I see Westview and Crockett advancing as well. And both of those advancing to state....
