Sevier County Smoky Bears 2015

The Bears are thinking 5A state title. Not sure what knowledge you have dave of the Smoky Bears program but this team will not be 5-5. I agree very tough schedule and they might lose 2 of those but it will be close if they do. With or w/o Banks they are a legit contender and you will be made a believer Dave. This team is loaded by SC standards. Lots of new names but trust me they are going to go deep as long as they stay healthy. The O line is the only question mark and that group has 3 quality coaches including the head man and I think they will be fine. When I look at the roster I see 8 starters that would start at all 5 of those teams you listed with out a doubt. I count about 5 more that would most likely start for any team on the schedule. The defense is going to be much improved and could even be very good. This group of seniors are 29-8 so far and the 8 losses are to maryville X 4 and DB x 3. The other to a SD team that was 1 of the best they have ever had at SD. And 2 DB losses to 1 of the best DB teams in a while. SC could be down next season but not this 1.

Frank Allen and Dolly are working hard on the eligibility issue. Funnel cakes and cheese burgers along with gold passes have been sent to all parties including coacht and the tssaa.

Wow after seeing the examiners top 10 the Bears will no doubt get to prove what they are made of this season. West, Mo West, OR, and DB all quality opponents that the Bears will be underdogs against going in. Hopefully the Bears can stay healthy and peak in the playoffs but I like the regular season grind it should have them ready for the post season. From what I hear they are working out harder than ever and the buzz is all about winning the State Champ. Come on august I have never been more excited to kick off HS football. Anybody know about Banks yet?

Last I heard not looking so good for banks playing. But nothing final, so who knows. I might hear something tonight tho

Mo east will be down from last year. Mo west will be better this year than last.
