Best "A" district settled! Clearly 7A

As usual nonsense about what district was the best  went on all year but Clarkrange 82-36 in Sub-State and Pickett Co. 95-65 over Van Buren proves it is 7A as always. PC easily could have scored well over 100 but started running the clock with 54 minutes to go. Both played much tougher schedules than any other team int he state tournament.

Very impressive no doubt. I wouldn't argue with that. Single A in West TN is tough as a whole. Seems like you have a lot of good teams, but not great. GC, Bradford, Union City, Dresden, Riverside, Greenfield, Middleton West Carroll are all teams that can beat each other on any given night.

West tn has the best boys basketball teams in boys from single a to triple a but this is girls forum. West tn girls has a lot of parity but they don't match up with middle tn . look at past champions . union city is only 7a team to make state in last 5 years and they have one state title. Let's see how many middle tn schools have trophies

Bradford has 6, Gleason 2 or 3, Peabody 2, Union City 1 Gold Ball in the last 20 years in Single A in West TN in girls.

Titles: Clarkrange 8, Jackson Co. 8 (4 in AA), Pickett Co. 5, Clay Co. 1 and a lot of 2nd place finishes. 7A also won about 6 or 7 in a row.

I am with you Bobcat. No argument from me where the best district is. Responding to the other that said we don't play Single A basketball in West TN. Gibson County has 10 within a 7 mile radius (Bradford 6, GC 2 Peabody 2).

I had an argument with a guy on here about 7a I had said it wasn't as good as everyone said this year but I was wrong. I do get tired of hearing about how great 7a is but it is as as good as people say
