Just withdrew from the South Gibson because she took another job. Either Crockett County or Dyersburg. I say Crockett Crockett and would be willing to take bets.

Joel Ayers is the new coach at Dyersburg so she won't be coaching there.

It is Crockett County. The way South Gibson handled this deal will come back to haunt them. Kayla Hudson won't have to recruit. They will come knocking on her door to play for her.

They lost a lot to graduation. She will get them back quick though. They will struggle this year.

So if Ayers is leaving Gleason why would Hudson go to Crockett when she's from Gleason and could coach there? Btw pioneer42 you do know recruiting is illegal correct? And the transfer school doesn't approve waivers.

The TSSAA will not stop a kid from going to another school. You either sit out a year if your already involved in high school activities or you don't if your in 8th grade. Yeah you can't recruit but sometimes relationships are already made.

Not sure where you're from BABABA, but what '42 is trying to say is that Kayla Hudson's name alone will draw players from everywhere close enough to attend school there. She played for a great coach, was a very basketball savvy player, and achieved a lot in both her high school and college careers. She won't have to recruit to draw talent.

Just like the Readi kid that was at Obion during the Heather Butler years. She left Obion to join McMillan and Russell and got back to back state championships and got a scholarship at UTM. Kayla Hudson's program will draw players who are looking to play college ball. What better way for a kid wanting a scholarship to Union than to go to play in Hudson's program, which will be identical to Union and Coach Campbell's.

Looking way too much into it. Hudson was a good high school basketball player and it will be interesting to see how good of a HS basketball coach she is. Let us know how many players attend her school out of zone. I'm guessing not very many at all. Good lucky to Kayla.
