Would not surprise me at all BD! I think it will be between Oakland, Blackman and Riverdale! GO WARRIORS!!

Riverdale is loaded. Made the playoffs last year with a very young team.

I haven't voted yet. Really want to see the new transfer QB in action before casting a vote.

 

Yesterday, I would have put it 1. Oakland, 2. Blackman, 3. Riverdale.  The QB slot was one of the few on-the-field pieces where Riverdale had a huge question mark. Team is still young but could be a bigger factor if this new guy is for real. 

 

Transfer QB and transfer kicker...hope both are the real deal.

So far the fans have Riverdale #1 but the coaches have Riverdale #3, behind Oakland and Blackman.  

 

One deep, which is what the fans normally think about, Riverdale does look like a good pick. They return pretty much everybody. The eventual region winner will probably be the team that has the most depth and can withstand a few injuries. 

 

Injuries have been so huge the last few years.  The region winner could be completely different than the team that makes the run in the playoffs.  Just depends on injuries, depth, and when adversity strikes. 

 

I'd probably go with the coaches if I was picking. Blackman and Oakland will probably be much better defensively than Riverdale and they will have more players and more depth.

 

A related question.  Does anyone know if the Riverdale coaches, especially the defensive coaches, go out to the coaching clinics to try and improve?  If so, what clinics, where?
