Guest footballfan100
I am still wondering why on 4th and 5 on the OR 25 yard line that DB went for the first down instead of a sure 3 by their kicker. this would've cut a 17-7 lead to 17-10 and then the TD later scored by DB would've ties the score. and then on the last drive, it would have been for a game winning FG from the 15..... Excellent observation. I was thinking the same thing when I watched the replay. Cannot say I was thinking that during the game. I was just hoping to get the stop. Because at that point in the game nobody could of known it would take a field goal to win in the end.
NuWildcat
What about that hit by Tee? Wooooo son. DB kid did a great job hanging on to the bball. As Clary would say: BOOM BIG SCHTICKK!! I hear you SS. What really surprised me about Tee was the way he ran after the catch. We had one right in front of where I sat that he lowered his shoulder like an RB and ran the DB over...IMPRESSIVE And what about Kendall's hit on the opposite side from us...BOOM !!!! oridgecat
Waco, that's true, I wasn't thinking that during the game. But it did occur to me in retrospect. Not trying to second guess your coach. I was really impressed with the Indians and we were fortunate to escape with the victory. It was a classic OR/DB battle. NuWildcat
I'm here to tell you DB fans something...I had never been to your house before last Friday but let me say I was impressed. Great atmosphere for Friday night HS football and what more could you ask for than the battle that took place. Good luck on your season. ROLL WILDCATS ROLL !!!! catswild
Great game to watch! Refs were horrible for both sides. DB coaching staff had a great plan for OR. It was a great game for sure. I thought both staffs had a good plan, or so it seemed. The refs were bad and THE worst call of the night was the interference call against Oak Ridge on the punt. I didn't realize it until I saw the playback Saturday but it was a DB player who ran into the DB punt returner. What a joke! Other calls were bad but that one takes the cake. That could've cost OR the game!
