Really not decided on which game.. I think the world of the kids on yalls team.. #55 is like my own. Coached over half the kids on the team at some point. But it's tough to listen to crap the adults say in the stands

I like to poke on here and stuff but it's only here. I don't condone any bad mouthing of people around me of either team. These are 15-17 yr old kids playing a game. 55 is a good kid

Any good places to eat up there besides the pregame meal at the cafeteria?

Some restaurants in town all within two miles of the high school. Scoops, Decatur Diner, The Blueberry Pig, and La Hacienda are the local places. Subway and Hardee's are the only chain restaurants.

Somewhere earlier in this thread there were several good places mentioned to eat in Decatur....all on Hwy. 58, in the city limits.  
One advantage in eating at the school cafeteria is that you could put your cushions in the stadium seating to reserve you a spot, then come and eat in the cafeteria where it's cool and comfy, until closer to game time.  Plus, the food is very good and it's for a good cause - Meigs High School Softball   It's about a 100 foot walk at most from the cafeteria door to the stadium entrance.
Meigs fans will fill up the home side, and some latecomers may migrate over to the visitor side.  There are plenty of places to stand at the fence around the field.
