I feel that with Huntland coming to play Summertown at home(or LCHS, Hendrix Staggs Stadium) with a crowd that was as loud and big as the one they had for the Zion game the Eagles can pull off another win. Huntland dropped their opener against a very good Forrest team that hasn't given up any points this season. They were beaten in their second game by a Fayetteville team that lost to FRA that beat Columbia Academy as well. I will have to put my chips on Summertown!!!!

Keep working hard Eagles, keep your heads up and play hard. Theses long established programs are going be tuff games for ya. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Agreed. Have nothing but respect for kids and any school trying to establish a new program. But fans need to learn some humility it don't come easy it's a long process that requires bumps and bruises take the wins with class and give credit where credit is due when u lose.

I just have to say one thing. I thought it was tasteless with 30 seconds left in the first half and leading 28-6 for Huntland to be calling timeout to design a play at the 10 yard line to score again. Why? You clearly have the game in hand and it was abundantly clear Summertown could not stop the run. Why not just sit on it and run out the clock? Not a good look IMO. It looks as if you are trying to run up the score.
