Be careful what you wish for, there's a reason Flippo isn't at Athens anymore. Isn't Flippo the QB coach? How do the QBs look? And I would think most decent coaches could've judged Walt and seen where the bobcat program was headed

Hard to defend after tonight but you do need to consider coach smith's overall record when deciding if he is a good coach. Who do you think is better that will come to Giles county? A few different coaches turned down the offer before coach smith

His wins before he came to GCHS was 1A schools. He lost his welcome last year, but Cardin kept him after most everyone wanted him gone. Maybe Cardin can go with him.
