Good to hear about west tn. Seems like every year I hear the least about the west but then they take home a gold ball, I think the meadows girl from Clarkrange has improved and runs the floor better

Clarkrange girls will be really young this year, even more so with Lexi Smith enrolling at York and with the loss of Kara Meadows with a torn ACL and losing powerhouses like Faith VanRuden, Britney Cooper and Cheyenne Shaver to Graduation, All 3 of those girls going on to play college ball. But like I have seen many years past that when i am thinking that it may be a long season Coach Lamar always seems to surprise me with the out come, i think Crange will still be in the mix of things and possibly surprise a few people.. Good luck to all teams, its going to be a exciting season regardless!!!

I agree. I think Coach Rogers will have a competitive team. Most likely they will be 3rd, but they won't be a walk over either.

They are a district over. Another county school. We've got some good size, with a pretty good point guard handling it. Not sure how well be from the 3 point line, but we should get to the basket a lot

Since my sister graduated, I am a little bit out of the loop. I still go to a few games a month. I look for Jackson Co to be very strong this year if they can stay healthy. Kassidy Allen has had a tremendous summer from what I have heard. Pickett Co has a ton of seniors too, this should be the games of the year. JC vs Pickett co

True!  It will be interesting and fun.  Don't think there will be a team that will dominate from start to finish.  Don't see anyone doing what Middleton did last year and going undefeaed.  That was special.  Meigs County and Gibson county will both be tough outs come tourney time. I think Pickett County may take it all this year.

Just curious as to why you think that Pickett will take it all this year?

      We are optimistic because we will have another great season. You should keep your opinions on your Forrest Rocket board. These kiddos at Marion have had an amazing off season. They are working hard and it is showing. Coach TStark is getting these kids scholarships to get their college for free. Also Coach Harm is back so this is another awesome thing for our kiddos. Forrest will get theirs when they come to Bill Baxter Stadium this season. My main men Sam, Tay and Tilton are going to do amazing things this season. You should just watch and see what these kiddos are capable of doing. The Marion County Warriors are a force to be reckoned with again this year. East Robertson will be a good team again but that is the only big challenge this team will have again. If we can beat East Robertson like I know we can then we will go to the state championship and win the game. As always it is a great day to be a warrior. Go Warriors! We are Marion!

      The player is only able to go because of the coach who is his dad. The dad is a recruiter not a good coach. HC blamed him for losing the Clinton game in the playoffs.
