Haven't heard a peep from him since Farragut slobber knocked Bearden.

Maybe he is too busy with excessive running in the late afternoon.

 

WB has an excellent chance for a win this Friday.

Farragut def. outmatched Bearden, but Bearden has a long way to go athletically, in the weight room, and in the community, but at least they don't look as awful as they did last year.

 

WB is in the same boat, much better schematically than years prior, probably has  better community support than Bearden, but not near the athletes of Bearden. 

 

2 teams in rebuilding mode, probably won't get the areas top refs. I bet this is a sloppy game.

Even the best refs are bad.  I have seen some incredibly bad calls already this year.  I know it's a tough job and I wouldn't want to do it, but still.

The TV games have been something to speak of for officiating...I think the SC game had 5 downs the first drive...that's not officiating...that's stupidity.

Yes, I saw that too, that was pathetic. Even Packer caught that. I was told they acknowledged that they screwed up and 4 downs had been played. Solution: replay the 4th play! ridiculous

Last year WB moved the ball at will on Bearden's defense in the 1st half but kept turning the ball over and one of those turnovers directly led to Bearden's first score and the momentum completely shifted from there. WB is taking much better care of the ball this year and has a much better defense. WB "should" beat Bearden but then again we should have beat them the last two years. I'm going to go out on a limb and say WB finds a way to win this game but it will be close.
