If warren county is going to score this game they are going to have to win some of the battles on the offensive line Good luck and stay healthy.

Hopefully, we can put some points on the board.  Our power run game is above average, but we just can't seem to get into the end zone, mainly because of turnovers.  Oakland may be the cream of the crop in this region.  They are led by one of our former assistants.

Oakland is always a well coached big, fast and physical team. They tackle well at all levels. Running over them with a power back is typically not an option

WC is basically a one dimension team and that is shaky at times. Our weak link is the O-line and the lack of speed and athleticism,  against Oakland, it could get ugly fast.

I know from experience it takes time to build a program to play at this level. We got our backside handed to us for several years here at Blackman by Oakland and Riverdale. Keep the faith and cheer for your young folks. Nothing is more powerful than talent, speed and strength except  desire and pride. You fellas will get it together and be a good team as time goes.

Unfortunately for WC this game will get out of hand and turn ugly rather quickly. I won't even attempt to make a scoring prediction on Oaklands behalf. WC will somehow muster up 7 points. They won't be shut out.

I'm not sure how much better a team can be compared to what was originally thought of them when a team is sitting at winless. Before the season started I said WC would be the first winless team to ever make the playoffs. That's looking to be true. I just don't see a win anywhere on their remaining schedule. In all likelihood yall will be going East in the playoffs and will face Maryville in round 1. 0-11.

 

On the bright side though, this group of freshman will be able to say that their class is the first group of WC players to make the playoffs 4 years in a row. That's certainly something that they can hang their hat on.

Some A+B=C math that everybody loves to hate

 

Warren County has lost to Riverdale and Cookeville by 42 and 30 points.

 

Blackman beat Riverdale and Cookeville by 38 and 21 points.

 

Oakland beat Blackman 21-7.

 

 

So I'm gonna say 

 

Oakland 48

Warren County 0
