Pennigton is by far the best. When he steps on the mat with his oppenents, its like he's as quik as a lightweight and he is by far one of the smartest wrestlers I have ever seen.

Houston Love of Marshall County looks promising. I watched him wrestle today and he isn't to bad. His record is 8-0 and he defeated another undefeated wrestler today. Not only beat him but pinned him. If he can keep his weight under 275 he'll have a good chance to go far.

Brugals strenght was no match for Penningtons overall skill

Brugal might bench 500lbs but he couldn't move the rather large Pennington. Pennington won like 8to7 . But he was rather sick. Almost puking pn the mat. Pennington will WIN STATE.

Well, just a small correction in the score in the Brugal v. Pennington match tonight at Dickson, the final score was 5-4 in favor of Pennington. An interesting night to say the least. Good show!!!

Crosby won the McCallie Inv today and won Knox Catholic a few weeks ago. He is the defending state champ. He beat both Pennington and Brugal when it counted last year.

Watched the Pennington / Brugal the Animal match. Pennington won 5-4 in a very exciting match, upset stomach and all. Both are good wrestlers and all of us have a tendency to categorize Brugal as an animal. I talked to both wrestlers after the match and congratulated them both on a well wrestled match. The winner responded graciously and the non-winner responded in the same fashion. So I will not call him the loser. Just a great competitor who has built an aura of being an Animal around himself by his love of the gym and the heavy bars. Good luck Heavies.
