Idk what east TN looks like, but it's gonna be a tough road through the playoffs on this half of the state. Centennial and Independence both look tough as nails. And I don't even know what the Memphis area is offering up this year.

Hats off to DC. Fought hard and didn't give up like advertised. Offense is for real. Defense played hard but couldn't come up with a needed stop at the end. I think EVERYONE in Henry County underestimated the Cougars.

Just asking...not able to attend game tonight, but thought HC's D was a

little better than allowing DC's offense to score 27 points. I have watched

or listened to all games of DC's this year and this is not a very good

football team. I have watched some of our area JR PRO teams play and they show more enthusiasm for the game than this version of Cougar football does. I am not bashing the boy's, I as well as a lot of people in DC think it is time for a change!! Too many athletes in the hallways not coming out for football because of the coach. Bad situation in DC!!

I've heard good things about Southwind and Munford, but I haven't seen either one. 

 

And coming back towards the midstate, also can't forget Hendersonville and Hillsboro from Region 6. 

 

5A is loaded this year.

Congrats to Lukas Reynolds on a phenomenal game. Rushed for (unofficially) 304 yards and 4 touchdowns. Caleb McCutcheon and Knox Davis had nice games as well. 

 

On an otherwise sloppy evening, gotta give some credit to the offense.
