MustangNation007
I dont think so,i believe it would be UC vs Trenton. The one and two from the same region wouldnt play till the quarters,if im not mistaken. so the highest seed of one region doesn't play the lowest remaining seed of the other region in round 2? cat1973
Yes. No. 1 and 3 from same region could play in round 2. 2 and 4 could also. Edited October 9, 2015 by cat1973
orngnblk
so the highest seed of one region doesn't play the lowest remaining seed of the other region in round 2?For some reason i thought you played the other bracket. Not within your bracket. MustangNation007
Yes. No. 1 and 3 from same region could play in round 2. 2 and 4 could also. but couldn't 1 and 2 from the same region play each in round two. If 1 2 and 3 for the same region win only the 1 seed from the other regions wins. So 1 and 2 from the same region would play and 1 would play 3 from the other region. Or am I wrong?? cat1973
The only way 1 and 2 from same region would play is round 3.

cat1973
so wildcat2 was wrong??? If you notice in Round 2 the teams are not in same region playing each other.
MustangNation007
If you notice in Round 2 the teams are not in same region playing each other. that was because it was both 1&2 seeds advancing. And he says the 1 seed plays the lower seed left from the other region so if one region has a 1 2 and 3 seed left and the other region only has a 1 seed. What you are saying and what he is saying doesn't add up
ReitzFan
This is a correct bracket. As an example, I am using regions 5 and 6 Round One Round Two Round Three (QTR FINALS) R5 #1 v ------------------- R6 #4 ----------------------------------- R6 #2 v -------------------- R5 #3 R5 #2 v --------------------- R6 #3 ------------------------------------ R6#1 v ---------------------- R5 #4 **************UPDATED INFORMATION************ In round three, the host team will be the team at the top of the bracket in odd years and the bottom of the bracket in even years per TSSAA regulations. This also applies to the semi finals and it overrides seeding. However, If two teams from the same region meet in the quarter finals, the higher seeded team will host.
