Morristown West at Sevier County (MyVLT game)

Recommended Posts

This Trojan fan hoping we win so we can get the #1 seed in our region! Maybe Oak Ridge will travel to Burke-Toney in the second or third round.

That'd be awesome. Been a loooong time since we played there. Back then I could visit my mamaw and papaw, but not around anymore :( That's ok, still got a lot of family there I could go see.

It's still a great town, and it's probably grown a bit since Oak Ridge last came here. If we win out, it could happen.

Yeah, I've always had a soft spot for Mo-Town. My dads 1st job was at Enka in lower Morristown, and of course my mom is from there. If my dad hadn't of gotten lucky and got a job at one of the OR plants I probably would've been a West High Trojan. Besides Oak Ridge, and maybe Clinton, it's where my most fondest childhood memories are at.

Mo West is solid this year. Just looking at their schedule of who they've beat and how many points they're giving up per game will tell you all you need to know. I've seen both of SCs TV games and have not been impressed with them especially given the multiple D1 athletes. It makes me wonder why Packer chose the show 3 SC games this year. I'm taking Motown by 14

Good old Lowland, TN. There's a lot of history in Hamblen County. Sounds like it worked out better for you in the end going to Oak Ridge.

We've got a while before we can start worrying about playing each other though. I was thinking third round at first, but it might end up being the semifinals before we would play. I hope we can make it that far.

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
