I leave the mercy rule talk to the experts. Anything can happen in the playoffs especially when most teams are not familiar with the other. Region 3 might be very good, but time will tell that. I will be shocked if someone beats Forrest by 28 points. Our D-fence is pretty good.

With Walters back it will be easy for Marion the first 2 weeks. The speed of the Warriors is unreal and the defense is nasty. I think Bledsoe plays with Forrest also, the two 220 pound RBs are healthy again.

Sounds like they will be a load. Forrest's front 7 are very good so if they don't throw much it will be tough sledding.

Most interesting matchup is Tyner at Watertown. I would think its a touchdown either way. Watertown handled Westy a lot better than I thought. I think Boyd, Marion and Forrest all win. The game at Watertown could go either way, like I said.

Speed is Forrest's achilles heel, always has been. Forrest has always played hard-nosed disciplined defense, and disciplined assignment based offense. This is fine and dandy until we get into the playoffs and start to face real speed. Forrest has played good teams this year, but has only played one truly explosive team, that team is Page. If Marion has legitimate speed (aka 4.8 or below on forty yard dash) then Forrest will struggle unfortunately. I am almost positive we don't have a kid that runs below a 4.9, I may be wrong but it doesn't show on the field. We're disciplined, no doubt about it, but speed takes over after a certain point.
