terop
National Hoopsfest has switched our Saturday opponent from Fayette-Ware to Cordova. Should be a stern test for us. Now that's a step up in competition! Cordova is pretty much top five in memphis this year.

rebelwoman87
Oak Ridge beats Halls by 30 tonight.
Hepcat
Aside from the Karns game the other night, Green and team have had an amazing ability to make halftime adjustments, and come out super strong in the second. The student section must have stayed home and done homework last night though as it wasn't as nearly impressive as usual.

SweetScience
We need to "clean" up our game if we are going to have a chance against Cordova. I've seen enough turnovers the past few games to last a lifetime.

I've seen enough turnovers the past few games to last a lifetime. Yea, that's the biggest weakness I've seen out of them too SS. It really doesn't make sense either with the guards they have. You can get by with that vs Halls, Cc, ac, etc... But vs the better teams it could cost you. To me, it's just a lack of concentration. Almost like hey we're gonna win tonight by 30 so I'll try this pass or that pass, you know?

I think we had over 20 turnovers and still almost won that game. It's frustrating to watch sometimes. Gee needs to have much better control of the ball. It almost cost us in the Karns game too. He lost control of the ball and the guy wasn't even playing up on him really. Thankfully he came back and made a great defensive play to make up for it. We make some boneheaded passes sometimes lol...We played out of control last night a bit as well. Here I am complaining and we are 19-1 lol

But, I think you and I see that to get were they wanna go, they've got to value every possession, vs every team. I'm really surprised at the turnovers. I mean Gee will play at a decent school I believe( Carson Newman, LMU ETC...), he has to clean it up when college coaches are in the stands. With his supporting cast he should have a 3-1 assist/To ratio, I'd say it closer to 1.5 to 1. That's not gonna get it. It's time for him to step up, run the offense and stay out of foul trouble. He's the best pg in our district and he needs to act like it. With all that said, I want to be in the stands the night they put it all together, I just hope it's not vs CC. LOL. Good luck vs Cordova. That'll be a good game.
