East just beat Bentonville, AR last night. The pushed, shoved, and grabbed Malik Monk enough to keep him out of rhythm. But they have a lot of weapons on the offensive end.

I agree you play all the tough teams you can in the regular season and it will pay off tournament time. The last 2 years Mitchell entered the state with 6 and 7 losses but all but 1 game breezed through the state to in 2 gold balls. Beating up on easy teams gives you a sense of false security.

If Cordova beat Oak Ridge like that without him, they stand no chance at state.

We are missing our big guy we had at state last year who gave East heck, as well. Although it was his own fault why he isn't there anymore, but he was a big loss, no two ways about it.
