Warrior2011's kid played the second half with a broken knuckle so he's gonna be occupied this evening getting that looked at.  Yet another of the Warrior walking wounded.  I'll post more detail when the dust settles, but for now I'll leave it at Alcoa just has way too much this year, on O and D, and too much depth.  I don't see anybody giving the Tornadoes a serious challenge for the gold ball this year.

Won't be hearing any excuses from me--Alcoa's just way better this year.

I will make one quick comment about off the field events.  I wish all the fans had the same level of class as most of you Alcoa guys who post on here.  When fans start yelling unconstructive stuff when the visiting team's QB is motionless on the field, being checked by medical staff, somebody next to the hooligans need to elbow them and tell them to shut up.

I heard them yelling that too...you must have been by the end zone.

The only screams/noise I heard, from my section, were directed at the emergency crew to speed up. I also heard a few from the CAK side?? Anyway, hope the young man is okay!

At first when I heard them yelling " hurry up" etc I thought it was directed at the game being delayed but I quickly figured out they were yelling at the paramedics to hurry. I don't think any Alcoa fan was being inappropriate. I think they were genuinely worried about the kid and found the paramedics pace a little too nonchalant. I agreed.

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
