congrats Indy on a stellar formance......and congrats to SC on a great run......missed the 38-14 pick a bit.....SC just did not get off to the start that Booger thought they would....SC put up a good scrap and Booger commends those young men for continuing to scrap....

got worse every year? He took OR to the semifinals his last year there and as I recall gave maryville a pretty good game. And he did that with a lot less talent than Gaddis has now.

Congrats to Independence on a convincing win. Congrats to Coach Blade for having your first team in there on your last ball possession when it's 49-14. Might be some of the reason you didn't cut it at OaK Ridge.

1. Blade wasn't even at OR when we moved down to 5A. 2. He never avoided Maryville, we played them every year he coached @ OR. 3. We were never in Maryville's district. 4. 91 is right. He took us to the semi's in 2010 and we played Maryville good that year losing 38-20 and in 2012 losing 39-25 after being tied in the 4th. What are you talking about? You lost me here?

Sevier tried to use their safety to help out on Johnson leaving the middle of the field open the whole first half. Later on they moved the safety in and Johnson caught a long TD. Pick your poison

Don't forget #9!! He was a game changer on both sides of the ball. And while bunch was hurt he showed out at QB. Mostly all he did was QB sweep around the end but no one could ever stop it!

Congrats to Independence on a dominant championship season. From start to finish they were the best team and last night night proved it as well.

 

Question for Independence fans- How many of your players are returning next year? Beause I know some teams are taking a step back next year in terms of talent and would see no reason why you all couldnt repeat.

 

Congrats to Sevier County on an awesome year as well. Looking forward to our rematch in August.

So The Hillsboro game was the state title game in which Indy won 28-20... East TN was very overrated this year

 

So true. HHS actually had its opportunities. Indy is the best. HHS and CHS follow THEN SCHS.
