Huntington will be a tough out for anyone in 16. I've been told that this is the class they've been waiting on.

HuntingDon will battle Wayne Co for region championship then will have to beat Trousdale Nashville Christian Trenton Union City or Dresden to go to state...not much is going to change..hope we can get over the 1st and 2nd round hump

Teams in the west right now defiantly have to run through the gauntlet to get to Cookeville, I love the competition, makes the boys strong and they know what they gotta do every week to move on but it's still tough to swallow knowing there's three or four championship caliber teams sitting and watching.

I don't know a thing about Greenback but I have seen Huntingdon Wayne Co Trenton and Dresden play and I'm 99% sure all of them plus Union City would beat them

I'm with you that the west is much stronger overall but it just takes that one team from the east that wants more. Don't think NCS can be stopped right now though

Ppl are worried about huntindons line and I understand. But something I've learned bout the mustangs is come heck or high water hundons going to have good lbs and a good line. Every single year.

What good is a stacked backfield when you only run one play?

 

Good coaches only run what they understand and can teach kids.  A good football team also has the go to play that they hang their hat on.

NCS is one of the best high school football teams I've seen since the very early 2000s.

They would lose to Liberty by 21+. Last years UC team was best 1A team you'll see for a long time
