we have several linemen back and our QB. our best athlete is back also. I think he might make the all-state team this year.

ðŸ‘!Middle school coaching position,it was offered two years ago actually.They may have waited too late I'm hearing GCA picked up a STUD QB coming in as a Fresh!Parker is an outstanding Baseball and Basketball player also,and GCAs Baseball is going to be the best its been this he from what I have seen and also heard.Basketball will be nothing but better if he decides to become a Ram.If you think about it GCA would offer a whole lot better atmosphere for a multi sport athlete as good as Parker.CF Basketball and Baseball won't give him near the exposure as the State tournament teams that GCA will provide.IMO.plus a free Education at a private.Almost too good to be true for someone who would go that route!

We've got 2 good QB's, 1 is a soph. the other one is a freshman. Always room for more. We'll see if there's any truth to it. I never believe any of this stuff until they show up with an application in hand.

Most people in Coalfield expected him to be at GCA two years ago. I don't know why they would make the move now instead of then. McKinney is still playing basketball at CF as of right now so I'd assume it would be at the end of school. Now I'll call complete BS on the Henry/GCA rumor. I believe Keith Henry would rather retire than coach at a private school.

I just spoke with one of the coaches from coalfield at food city. He said that no one had any plans of leaving coalfield at all. So I guess that kills all the rumors out there. Sorry to spoil the fun. Wish they were' would love to have them at OZ. That can be the next rumor...lol

Cmon, you know Coalfield is getting all those stud transfers from OS.

I would have thought the same thing about Coach Satterfield. He was one of the most outspoken coaches out there about the public ,private issue.

I agree.Parker's dad is the only one I know of.I am sure the Henrys are unhappy and may have put a call in to the Rams head master tho LOL!As TTU said no one is leaving as of yet,but if it does it will be in the spring.They live in Wartburg so he could play immediately in Baseball.GCA is expected to win gold again.

I think he would benefit most in baseball if he chose to play. He didn't play baseball last year but that could've been because of the post season ban.

      From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated

      Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
