BIGPURPLEMACHINE
What schools or school districts need to improve their stadiums in West Tn? Who has the best? Dyersburg, Henry Co and Peabody are probably the best outside of Memphis. Milan's is bad but is aged and could use some improvements. TennesseeVol
Dyersburg, Henry Co and Peabody are probably the best outside of Memphis. Milan's is bad but is aged and could use some improvements. Those 3 are the best stadiums in West Tennessee. You can add Dyer County and even Huntingdon on that list. Covington, Ripley, North Side, and Haywood County could all use improvements. Covington could use some lights, when I was there last season, it was dark (that could help Covington purple jerseys and the football). Ripley visitor side only has 5 rows, but it stretches from goal line to goal line. Ripley also has a big ditch right beside their track. So somebody could fall in that ditch. Defitnately a safety hazard. Haywood's field is awful. There a big hill at the corner of the end zones. Could be an advantage for the Tomcats if they have a certain play. North Side visitor and home stands are awful. We were promised a new stands for the home side but we haven't made any renovations as of late. Could use a new scoreboard and FG post as well. TrojanTrain
No question Dyersburg has the best right now.

BIGPURPLEMACHINE
Why is stadiums so bad out west?? Why so many school out west don't have stadiums? I would think that most schools that don't have football stadiums in the west would be in Memphis. Outside of Memphis almost all should have them. Outside of Memphis almost all should have them. I don't think they should be able to host during the playoffs. That goes for East Nashville to playing on a field with sand filled holes. So they (the TSSAA) are going to penalized a 10-0 football team in Memphis in the playoffs just because that school does not have a football stadium on the school property? cofo
Been to several stadiums the last few years across west TN. Dyersburg is by far the nicest. dyersburg stadium is the class of West Tn....Milan's has been close to the top in west tn for years....they have better visitor's stands than most stadium's home stands....concrete based stands...not aluminum.....
