12thmanGCA
You saw them play Macon Co only? Macon is a good AA team and not a bad team at all. They lost in triple OT at Macon Co. Have you failed to look at their wins? 7A is very strong this year likely to have two teams in the state tournament. Clay also beat 20-4 AAA Sevier County, AAA Hardin Valley, and a team from KY Whitley Co that would be considered AAA in TN. They also beat Van Buren which could make it to state by 30 and 16. Clays schedule is by far stronger than Halls. Clarkrange, Jackson County, And Pickett County are all strong good wins as well. I am not saying Clay would beat Halls but it wouldn't be a 10-15 point loss for Clay guaranteed. Clay likely has a finalist for Mr. Basketball in Tyreke Key who is averaging 31 points. My question since you only seen them play Macon I assume you are from Macon then when did you ever see Halls play? Btw Sevier County drummed Macon County by 30-40 in the same tournament Clay beat them . Top 3 in no particular order Clay Co, Halls, Mitchell Just FYI Grace Christian Knoxville Smoked Macon County in the same Gatlinburg Tournament. GCA led wire to wire Ledford had 24 Arnold 23 if I remember right. GCA is scary talented but is still struggling to find a consistent 4 quarter 5 man rythm......Big game hosting Meigs Co at GCA Friday

Its just like Trezvant was in football. Most people knew they were the top team but they were never rated real high in the AP.
Intense
I agree kwc, BTW should be in top 10. I think they should be top 5.
Galilee
BTW is for real. We are in a battle tomorrow for the County Championship. They have the best backcourt in Abin Blackley and Beason.MAHS is good but BTW is much better. A lot of Memphis people do not vote. In AAA if Blackmon is better than East they are world beaters. Titles are won in the court and not in the polls.
MrOct1031
Galilee what is your prediction for tomorrow's game?
Galilee
It depends on how each teams strength outplays the other teams weakness. If our bigs can dominate their bigs better than their guuards dominate our guards, then we should win. If it's the opposite they should win. Intense
Thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Galilee during the game today. I definitely think BTW is the 1A team to beat this year. Mitchell is a very good team but nowhere near last year's team. I think Halls, Humboldt, UC, Middleton and TCA(if healthy) can play with those two teams. I didn't say beat them but can play with them. Last year, no one could really play with Mitchell in 1A. This was Mitchell's first loss ever to a 1A team. Wouldn't surprise me if Mitchell worked hard and ended up winning their district but my money is on BTW. Very fast paced, athletic game. Guard from BTW is unreal! You can't take the ball from him! When BTW jumped out to i think a 15-0 lead I thought the game would get more ugly as it progressed but Mitchell did what they do best and fought back. I agree, BTW's guard is foreal. But I enjoyed it.

burnalittle
Huntland is going to be one of the best teams coming out of Region 5-A They better be really tough and guard oriented to be able to hang with BTW. Their point was crazy sick quick!! The only way to take the ball from him would be considered assault and battery if it occurred outside the gym.
