2016 I would seriously doubt that. Dobbs I am certain new Coach A was leaving Riverdale before he accepted the job at Moore Co. It is also said that the Riverdale folks are looking to go outside the former staff for their next head coach. So I don't think the folks in Lynchburg need to worry. They need to get behind Dobbs who is not only a very good football coach but good man as well. Congrats on the hire and good luck.

Congrats to coach Dobbs.  The kids, parents, teachers and community are good people who love football.  there will be some growing pains for a couple of years and hopefully people will be patient.  They lose a great resource in coach Austin who was not only a great defensive guy but a master motivator in the weight room.  One of the biggest problems with taking over a smaller program is having the teaching room to bring in other coaches, just not a lot of turnover from year to year with many people being life long residents of Lynchburg.

That's right. No teaching position no coach.  Its hard to build a staff at small schools.  Administration has to help.

The old Duck River Valley Conference. It's just a conference they use to recognize. A lot like the old Sequatchie Valley Conference. Huntland, Lynchburg, Chapel Hill, St Andrews and others were once all part of this conference.

Any idea of the original members of the DRVC in 1969 ?  Researching area football and would sure like to know...
