well, that's true, you still got to work on your long homerun passes even if you are up by 35

You obviously don't understand the game of football. Going 3-5 for 120 yards and 1 touchdown or 4 carries for 60 yards with 1 touchdown aren't great stats. You get great stats by playing the full game and working on all aspects of your game, Wayne County can't do that because they play teams like collinwood who they score every other play.

It's time for everyone in the region to take notice that McEwen is a good football team. They have some good players who took some beatings in the past but have grown into men over time. Honestly this year's McEwen team reminds me of last year's Houston County team except they are more explosive offensively.

I've noticed and from just looking at their record. I'd say they finish 3rd in the region. They're the only team I haven't seen that, I think, will make the playoffs out of our region.

Collinwood has made changes on both sides of the ball and they are looking good. HC looks like a very young team. They have some speed to build around and they don't mind physical play for real. This was a very hard hitting game. Collinwood played very well on defense and didn't allow a score until late when HC scored twice against the b team. Tidwell is the real deal, a true natural at qb with live arm and quick feet. Hes really accurate with his passes. Robertson is a big strong back who can power out consist yards and is a big threat with the half back passes.

 

HC has some nutty mom fans. One runs alongside her son when he gets the ball. He is a good player but man I would quit football if my mom was being a jackash like that. They had some other crazies too...I had more fun watching them than watching the game...fer real.

 

Hc to young to make much hay this year but they got some talent. Looks like qb is an issue for them. 25 is really fast. Collinwood gonna win a lot of games this time out and should be a powerhouse next year if not sooner. Love watching Tidwell, the kids a magician. And Robertson and Kelly really run HARD ...d is gonna be pretty stout too.

Coach has done an amazing job in the short time hes been there. He has turned a handful of young kids into another green machine making huge progress from game to game. definitely a playoff contender...in fact I predict right now that they will get in if they just keep working

I respect Zion, they got some tough kids and a good passing game. Their new stadium is nice and their hotdogs tasty but I almost feel sorry for them next week with the Trojans going up there with the newly tooled high power offense they got now

Congrats on the win. We have some work to do, they are not playing good ball in HC right now. Hope they can get things turned around, very young football team.

I listened to the game on YOUR radio broadcast...they were calling the same names in the fourth that they called in the first...with occasional exceptions...they even said they were surprised to see the starters going so long    to your credit I think they did have mostly subs in for the last four or five minutes

Just read where WC has scored 257 points this year through their first five games which is an average of 51.4 per game. That is the fourth highest in the entire state. Four of their five games this season has seen jv take over late in the game with this past Friday night the jv played the entire 2nd half. I posted before the season started that if this offense gets rolling then sit back and watch because it's going to be the most explosive offense to ever come through WC and its living up to just that! Thing is I think they are still getting better! GO CATS!!!

Wildcat89, drive up 64 and hit the turnpike to Summertown and check out some good football. You'll like the way the Eagles are playing this year. Good, very small community, country atmosphere with some really fired up fans.
