Pence is the choice. He will be a good hire for EHHS if the "fans" give him time to build it the right way.

This was a set-up crooked deal from the beginning. The finalist didn't find out they were a finalist until it was in the local paper. Then in the article it was stated that the superintendent added a person because he obviously didn't like who the committee recommended. Then they all interviewed on the same night and had to wait around in the same room. As I was told Pence was offered the middle school job and turned it down. Then ,he met with the other three and told them he would make a decision the next day at noon. Then, he called them at noon and said he was putting it off until Saturday. 

 

This whole situation was a STINKFEST!!!

Congrats to Brian Pence being named the new head coach. All I know is that he was an assistant at 5A state champion Independence the last couple of years and before that was an assistant under Coach Rewis at Hickman Co. So he should be familiar with this district.

 Amen!  Finally got a new Coach!  The janitor would of been a 100% improvement from who has been in the drivers seat the last 5 years!  I hope he brings a entire new staff and  gets East off to a good start. Cant wait till fall!

Mind boggling. Outgoing retaliation hire? He does come from a 5A Championship staff. I really hope he makes East competitive. Edited April 28, 2016 by Jacketman89
