I just saw where the Whitwell coach resigned. Hes from East Ridge and has connections in the school supposedly. Im betting hes getting the job.

A good choice would be the current defensive coordinator. This team's defense was stout last season. I have heard James mentioned, as well as speculation on Helton (Whitwell). As a fan I wouldn't be opposed to either of them. Whoever gets the job will need to take charge asap. This team has a ton of potential, but nothing is guaranteed. Two years ago they were picked to win the region, but finished 3-7. Last season they were picked near last and ended up undefeated. Confidence is everything, and if the team can keep the chemistry they found last season they should do fine.

Interesting for sho.....their bringing back a coach that had 1 or 2 winning seasons in the 7 or 8 years he was there and thinking that was with 6 wins......guess those ridge folks still hopin that keeping it in the family is the way......maybe they want regret running Malone over to the valley
