These are some good dunk highlights. But how is his ball handling skills? How is he in the post? Can he create his own shot, while being defended buy an equally athletic defender? How is his jump shot?

Not bashing just curious because I have not seen this kid play live.

Jackson is a 6'4 sg, shot approx 38% from 3 over career.  2000 pts.  athletic, rebounder and defender.  A broken ankle cut his career short this season, which is a shame.  The rest of the state isnt going to get an opportunity to see him.  Took LEAD Academy to state as a sophomore and was on pace to do it again this year.  He has to put on some weight to be effective at the next level but is by far one of the my under-rated players in the state

After watching this I have to wonder how he would fair against better competition? He gets to the rim alot but it's because of very poor close outs, he gets lobs against a zone because well in all of the clips the zone is played really terrible. He's gonna need to do more than steal and dunk or go baseline untouched and dunk at the next level.

Anyone have any highlights on This Lomax kid from Memphis?

Not much tape out there on him. He's pass first not flashy at all but you have to see him in person to see his ability and the fact that he can take over the game if he wants. i thought hoover wouldve recieved it due to stats and a hot start at the beginning of the season but lomax is the better all around player and he surely deserved it over Higgins.

He is definitely a talent. That chipped ankle sucks. He is long, can handle it and score at all 3 levels. Really underrated.

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
