pujo
Last night game at clay was way to many fouls. Mc had 3 players foul out and everyone on court had at least 3 fouls. Both teams had multiple players foul out. Key thought he fouled out 2 times even untucked his shirt. Refs were not clear on who fouls were called on. I bet key had 20 points at free throw line. A physical game would have benefited Mc in the game. They were pysicalky stronger than clay. Clay Co has a great team and very well coached. Depends on the draw but could see them making it to title game The bad thing is you have different called games every night. Or even our game last night, called really loose the 1st half and completely different the 2ond half. More consistent is what the game needs. tradertwo
Dumbest rule or no rule out there is teams trying to extend the game by INTENTIONALLY fouling the winning team. Everyone knows it intentional but never called that way. I'm with you pujo...coaches are jumping up and down screaming which player to foul, kids grabbing from behind, even seen coaches tell ref's "we're going to foul as soon as the ball is inbounded". On the other hand, in a district 15A girls game this situation happened with a two point lead and less than a minute on the clock...intentional foul called...two free throws, and ball inbound...same thing, same result...then the girl asked the ref "why that was intentional?", and got a tech. Fine with calling it that way (because it is), but it needs to be consistent and there was no need for the technical foul. FYI..."my" team won that game, but that didn't make it fair or right.
