Our bench has good guard subs and the post sub won't miss a beat. Can't imagine a quicker scorer and defender than Zy Moore for Meigs.

Sounds like it will be a very fun game to watch

Pulling for Hampton from Decatur , wish you guys the best!

Thanks pal!

The Key kid is talented but I have yet to see a video of anyone playing D or putting a body on him....He may blow us UP! But I feel confident our D can hang.....And our guards wont be intimidated bringing the ball down.

Clay County Bulldogs versus The Hampton Bulldogs...... I'll go out on a limb and say The Bulldogs win this game

I'd put every dime I had on it

Has anyone seen both teams play?

A lil video on CC....Hopefully see a bit more tonight after church and get a better feel

I've saw a couple of highlights and it looks like key is a very athletic kid. His coach set up some plays for him in the ones I saw. A lot of screens on the back side of the zones with skip passes and lobs. Didn't really see anything off the dribble. Wish there was more videos out there.

It always gets tough if you are still playing this time of year. We have our strengths and spurt ability. Just gotta hit some shots and do all the other things well. Rebounding and turning Meigs was the KEY to our win the other night. Sounds as if Key is a VERY talented player.

Agreed, Key is going to get his points. It depends on if the others show up as they shoot the 3 very well. The problem with when playing Clay is the length. The shortest player on the starting 5 is the Russell Kid at 6'0-6'1. Peyton Smith off the beach vs JC hit 5 straight 3s so once they get rolling they can score fast especially if Hampton turns the ball over.

They play as a team more than anyone I have seen this year as they all have fun. No one is selfish including Key and are always willing to make the extra pass.

Sounds like Hampton with just a little more size.

    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
    • Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.

    • MTD (Stanley Black and Decker) and UTM are the only thing keeping Westview's numbers up. Are school enrollments dropping in those listed schools too or just athletic rosters?
